Kelly’s love of animals started as a child growing up on a ranch in the North Fork Valley of Colorado, where she developed a strong connection to large and small animals and a sense of responsibility for their care. Her childhood experiences of rescuing and rehabilitating animals have shaped her ongoing commitment to helping animals in need. 

Kelly's volunteer work at the animal shelter and her efforts to secure funding for programs such as spay & neutering initiatives and medical care underscore her passion for improving the lives of shelter animals.
